West Haven High School Football Player Dies Unexpectedly A 15-year-old Connecticut high school sophomore football player died unexpectedly, days before his team was to play in the Class LL championship game. Christopher Fidalgo-Pugh, of West Haven, died at the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 5, reported ABC affiliate WTNH News 8.   A cause of death has not been revealed. The 22-year-old was snorkeling near a resort around 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 24 in the Turks and Caicos Islands when the rare attack happened, authorities said. Susan Bysiewicz, according to WTNH News 8. New Haven County resident John Bysiewicz, of Brandford, was hit around 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12 on the 400 block of Leetes Island Road in Guilford, said Deputy Chief Chris Massey of the Guilford Police. A 37-year-old woman was found in New Haven County around 9:25 p.m., Sunday, March 20 in Meriden after police received multiple 911 calls.
