The incident took place around 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 19 at Newtown High School.  Lt. Ansonia Man In 'Altered Mental' State Busted With Guns, Drugs, Police Say A Connecticut man who held police at bay for several hours last week has been charged with alleged criminal possession of weapons and drugs. New Haven County resident Eric Warren, age 50, of Ansonia, was arrested on Tuesday, March 14 on a warrant for the Wednesday, March 8 incident at his home. During the original incident, Ansonia Police responded to Warren's home on a report of a person in an altered mental state acting irrationally and armed with a handgun, said Lt. Patrick Lynch. They are Alexander Keen Grant (statutory rape), Mario Garcia (murder), Marvin Veiga, Jr. (murder), Wesly Jordan Alcin (armed assault to murder, home invasion, weapons charge), and Jeffrey Cancel-Muniz (aggravated rape, kidnapping, strangulation).
