A factory in Connecticut was the site of a bomb scare on Christmas after an ex-employee dropped off suspicious bags at the building, police said. The incident happened in Fairfield County on Monday, Dec. 25 just after 2:45 p.m., when security personnel at the ASML facility in Wilton at 77 Danbury Rd. (Route 7) told Wilton Police that a man had illegally entered the building while carrying several bags. The incident took in Stratford around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 in the 400 block of Long Beach Boulevard, said Capt. Frank Eannotti of the Stratford Police. A 21-year-old man was charged after police said he assaulted a Uber driver in Fairfield County. Authorities received a report of a breach of peace between an Uber driver and one of his passengers outside of a home on Tulip Tree Lane in Darien at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27.
