CT Man Charged After 4-Hour Crime Spree Robbing Multiple Women, Sexually Assaulting 1 A Fairfield County man has been charged after allegedly attacking and robbing multiple women over four hours. Cecil Mills, age 35, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 24 after a vehicle pursuit, crash, and foot chase that ended near the intersection of North Avenue and Madison Avenue. According to Det. Detective Jeffrey Holtz of the Bridgeport Police, the victims all report being followed by what turned out to be a stolen Toyota Camry, before being robbed and assaulted.  Mills was charged with sexually assaulting one of the three women he allegedly robbed.…

81-Year-Old From South Windsor Accused Of Shooting Another Hunter In Head, Lying To Police An 81-year-old Connecticut man was charged with allegedly shooting another hunter in the head and then lying to police about it. Hartford County resident James Dina, of South Windsor, turned himself in to police on Wednesday, Dec. 13 on an active arrest warrant. Dina's charges stem from a Friday, Nov. 17 incident in which he negligently shot another hunter and lied about it to police during an investigation, said Sgt. Man Under Influence Flees Scene Of Route 8 Crash In Waterbury, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash while driving under the influence. The incident took place around 10:15 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8 in Waterbury. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 northbound, south of Exit #36, in the City of Waterbury.  One of the vehicles involved in the collision had allegedly fled the scene of the crash, state police said.
