5 Nabbed In Special Bridgeport Operation To Reduce Crime, Ansonia Man Still On Run, Police Say Five Connecticut residents have been charged, and one is on the run in connection with a triple shooting in which more than 40 shots were fired earlier this year. The incident occurred in Fairfield County in Bridgeport on Tuesday, Aug. 22, on Park Avenue. The arrests are part of a month-long investigation named "Operation Take Back Park Avenue," after numerous shootings and one stabbing resulted in two homicides in that same area between May and September of this year, Capt. CT Man Nabbed For Murder Of 29-Year-Old, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man and the wounding of two others. Joseph DeJesus, formerly known as Joseph Reyes, age 38, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 25 for the Saturday, Oct. 8 shooting death of Dominique Jones, of Bridgeport, said Capt. 14-Year-Old Accused Of Firing Shots Into Occupied Vehicle In Hamden A 14-year-old from Connecticut is facing charges after police said he fired shots into an occupied vehicle this past spring. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in New Haven County at about 4:30 p.m. on May 27, according to the Hamden Police Department. Police said the incident happened in the area of Woodin Street and Pine Rock Avenue in Hamden. Officers found two vehicles that were involved in a crash at the intersection, authorities said. Two Arrested, One For Stalking Ex-Girlfriend, Firing Gun At Her Vehicle, Police Say Two Fairfield County men were arrested, one for allegedly stalking an ex-girlfriend and for a firing gunshot in the area of her home and vehicle. The men, Ian Murray, 33, and Christopher Smeriglio, 34, both of Norwalk, were arrested by Wilton Police on Thursday, Jan. 7, following a report of shots fired, said Lt.
