Stratford resident Edwin Cordero, age 21, was sentenced Monday, April 18 to 30 months behind bars by US District Judge Kari A. Dooley in Bridgeport. CT Man Involved In Car Theft Ring Sentenced A Fairfield County man has been sentenced to four years in prison for his role in an auto theft ring that included using the vehicles in violent crimes.  Christopher "Chucky" Mulkern, age 22, of Stratford, was sentenced on Monday, Jan. 3, to prison time, followed by three years of supervised release, said Leonard C Boyle, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Ansonia Man Found Shot In Vehicle In Fairfield County Dies From Injuries A Connecticut man who was found shot in a vehicle in Fairfield County has died from his injuries. The 27-year-old New Haven County resident from Ansoniad was found around 11:27 p.m.on Monday, July 12 when Bridgeport Police responded to the area of Gregory Street and Rennel Court on the report of shots fired with a party down.  Upon arrival, officers observed a crowd of citizens surrounding a vehicle parked on Rennell Court with an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat, said Captain Kevin Gilleran.
