Sahvone Valentine, of Hartford, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 12, for his involvement in the homicide of Abdul-Jalil Humphrey on Friday, July 14, in New Haven County on Hodge Avenue in Ansonia.  The arrest of Valentine was the result of a multi-agency investigation where a second suspect, Jada Artis, age 17 of Ansonia, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 3, said Lt. Suspect Nabbed After Shelton Store Robbery Through Multi-Agency Effort Just hours after a man allegedly robbed a liquor store in Fairfield County at gunpoint, he was behind bars thanks to a multi-agency effort. The incident took place in Fairfield County around 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21 in Shelton. The dog, who was not chipped and had no identification, was found in New Haven County at a picnic area in Derby. The dog was shot at least two times, with one bullet shattering his front leg and the other still embedded in his shoulder, Derby Police said. Man Found Walking Through Derby Neighborhood Allegedly Stabbed Himself A man found walking through a Connecticut neighborhood had allegedly stabbed himself. The man was found around 8 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, in New Haven County after the Derby Police Department received a call regarding a man walking on Francis Street with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds to his torso, police said. Due to conflicting stories from the victim, a neighborhood canvas was conducted.   Preliminary evidence suggests the wounds were self-inflicted, police said. An ambulance transported the man to Bridgeport Hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition.
