Driver Found To Have Active Warrant During Traffic Stop In CT, Police Say A Fairfield County man was found to have an active court-issued warrant during a traffic stop last week, police reported. An officer saw a vehicle traveling west on Post Road in Darien without a front license plate at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Darien Police Department said. Police said the driver, identified as 41-year-old Gerardo Prisco-Garcia, of Norwalk, was found to have a warrant related to an incident out of Norwalk. Erratic Driving Traffic Stop In CT Leads To Discovery Of Stolen Handgun, Police Say A 51-year-old man is facing charges after police said he was found in possession of a stolen handgun during a traffic stop in Connecticut. Troopers in Hartford County received a report of an erratic vehicle on I-91 southbound near Exit 46 in Enfield at about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, according to Connecticut State Police. Police were told that the vehicle traveled off the Exit 44 ramp and stopped on the right shoulder, according to the report. New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson recommended on Friday, Aug. 26, the termination of Sgt. More Than 600 Bags Of Heroin Seized During CT Traffic Stop A traffic stop in Connecticut led to the discovery of more than 600 bags of heroin. Officers in Hartford County reported that the drugs were discovered overnight between Sunday, June 26, and Monday, June 27 in the town of Enfield, near the Massachusetts border. The Enfield Police Department said in addition to the heroin, officers also discovered six grams of cocaine and $2,000 during the traffic stop. "Kudos to the midnight shift for getting these dangerous drugs off our streets," the police department said.
