Police Alert Residents After String Of Vehicle Thefts In CT Police in Fairfield County issued an alert following a string of vehicle thefts. The New Canaan Police Department said the thefts and suspicious incidents took place between Friday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 30. Officers first responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from a driveway in the area of Weed Street and Richmond Hill Road in New Canaan at about 1:20 a.m. on Friday, according to the report. Silver Alert Issued For 2-Year-Old CT Girl Who's Been Missing For 3 Days Police in Connecticut have issued a Silver Alert for a 2-year-old girl who has not been seen in three days. Melody Bookert, of New Haven County in Hamden, was last seen in the area of Ridge Road on Sunday, Sept. 4. Hamden Police are asking anyone who may see or know of her whereabouts to contact them at 203-230-4000. Callers may remain anonymous. Wanted Alleged CT Bank Robber Nabbed A woman who was on the run after robbing a Connecticut bank has been captured by police. The robbery occurred in New Haven County around 12:45 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 17, in Hamden at the Connex Credit Union, at 2100 Dixwell Ave. Hamden police responded to the bank and learned the suspect, identified as Natalie Medor, age 36 of Hamden, had entered the credit union and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money, said Det.
