Women Wanted For Vehicle Break-Ins, Trying To Cash Stolen Checks In CT Authorities in Connecticut are asking for help from the public in finding two suspects accused of breaking into vehicles and trying to cash stolen checks.  According to state police, the duo allegedly broke into several vehicles in both the Litchfield County towns of Washington and Roxbury and the Fairfield County town of Brookfield on Monday, Dec. 4, the Washington Resident Trooper Office announced on Wednesday, Dec. 13.  The suspects were then seen at an unnamed bank in the Hartford County town of Canton, where they attempted to cash stolen checks. 'Unknown Reason' Behind Crash That Killed 28-Year-Old From Hartford Authorities are trying to figure out how a Connecticut motorcyclist flew off of his bike and died after colliding with a pickup truck on I-84 this week officials say.  Jose Guillermo Torres, of Hartford, was driving westbound on his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when he crashed into the back of a 2001 GMC Sierra K1500 pickup truck around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 near exit 50 on I-84, according to Connecticut State Police.   Torres flew off his motorcycle and landed in the right shoulder of the interstate for an "unknown reason," according to police.  His motorcycl…

Man Dies After 2-Vehicle CT Crash An investigation is underway after a 64-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Connecticut. The crash happened in Windham County at about 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, on Route 6 at the intersection of Cucumber Hill Road in Killingly near the Rhode Island border, Connecticut State Police reported. An eastbound 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle struck the rear of a 2022 GMC Sierra that was stopped at a red light, police said.
