The incident happened on Monday, Nov. 20 around 9 a.m. in Easton on Route 59 in the area of Sherwood Drive, according to Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle.  Soon after the collision, first responders arrived at the scene and found that a 2019 Ford pickup truck had struck a deer. New Update: IDs Released For Man, Woman Found Dead In CT Pond Two people found dead inside a vehicle in a Fairfield County pond have been identified by police. The two were found in the pond in Easton on Stepney Road near Church Road inside a 1995 Jeep Cherokee which was partially submerged in water and tipping to the driver's side. During an investigation, Easton Police and Fire personnel found two occupants in the vehicle who were pronounced dead on the scene, said Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle. CT Man Charged After Incident That Injured 2, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged in a domestic violence incident that injured two. It happened in Easton around 8:20 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 at a home on Everett Road. According to Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle, officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call reporting a disturbance. When officers arrived on the scene they found a fight had occurred between a man and woman, Doyle said. CT Man Nabbed For Sexual Assault, Home Invasion, Police Say Police were able to quickly nab a man wanted for the sexual assault of a 21-year-old Fairfield County woman.
