The New Haven County crash happened on the evening of Thursday, March 21 in the city of Meriden. At approximately 10 p.m. that day, near the intersection of Broad Street and East Main Street, a pickup truck reportedly crashed into the “City of Meriden World-War Roll Of Honor,” the city’s WWI monument, knocking it over and causing significant damage. CT ATV, Dirt Bike Group Suspected Of Reckless Driving Nabbed, Police Say A large group of ATV and dirt bike riders who have allegedly been causing havoc on the highways in a Connecticut city have been nabbed by police. The group has been causing problems over the past six to seven weeks in New Haven County in Meriden, said Lt. Darrin McKay of the Meriden Police. Police received multiple reports of a rollover crash in New Haven County in the area of 154 Research Parkway in Meriden at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 19.
