Hit-Run: Police Asking For Help Identifying Vehicle Involved In CT Incident Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle and its driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Bridgeport. CT Man Sentenced For Role In Heroin-Trafficking Operation A Fairfield County man will spend years behind bars after being sentenced for allegedly trafficking heroin in Connecticut, federal officials announced. Stratford resident Nadyar Malaka, age 35, was sentenced in Hartford federal court to 48 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute one kilogram or more of heroin in July 2021. Fatal CT Crash Kills 42-Year-Old Police are investigating a crash that killed a 42-year-old in Fairfield County. The crash, between a Suzuki GSR motorcycle and a Toyota Camry, took place around midnight on Sunday, Aug. 22 on Stratford Avenue and East Main Street in Bridgeport. According to Capt. Steven Lougal of the Bridgeport Police, a Suzuki GSR motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry, causing serve injuries to the motorcyclist, Donald Fountain, who died from his injuries.
