Wrongful Death Suit By Gabby Petito's Mother Seeks Damages From Brian Laundrie's Estate
Gabby Petito's mother has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Brian Laundrie's estate, seeking more than $30,000 in damages, according to a new report from WFLA. Nichole Schmidt filed the lawsuit against Laundrie's parents for the expenses such as funeral costs and due to the loss of care and comfort that the family has experienced, the news station reported. WFLA said the lawsuit says Laundrie committed "intentional acts" that resulted in Petito's death. Laundrie, age 23, was found dead in a Florida nature reserve in October. Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing CT Woman
Police are asking the public for help locating a woman who has been reported missing in Connecticut. Police are asking for assistance in locating Hartford County resident Diane Alderman, age 53, of Enfield who was reported missing around 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 9. Alderman was last seen driving east on Elm Street in the area of Freshwater Boulevard, in a black Ford Focus bearing New York registration JPF8479, the Enfield Police Department said. FBI Issues Nationwide Alert For Missing College Student From New England
A nationwide alert has been issued by the FBI for a college student from New England who mysteriously disappeared nearly two decades ago. Maura Murray was a 21-year-old UMass Amherst nursing student in 2004 when she went missing minutes after crashing her car off Route 112 in Haverhill, New Hampshire. Investigators said that Murray was last seen on surveillance footage on the day of her disappearance on Feb. 9, 2004, at an ATM machine wearing dark jeans and a jacket, prompting the FBI to create a Violent Criminal Apprehension Profile for her near the 18th anniversary of her going missing. …

Gabby Petito shared plans and ideas for her wedding online in the months prior to her disappearance and homicide. In a Pinterest album titled "Life Goals," the 22-year-old Long Island woman saved photos of wedding invitations, dresses and goodie bags for guests. The album, which was also shared with her 23-year-old fiancé Brian Laundrie, features photos of families and babies, along with maternity clothes.
