Man Charged With DUI While Driving Wrong Direction On CT Highway A Blink alert that a vehicle was driving in the wrong direction on a busy CT highway led to the arrest of a man found in his Nissan Altima stuck in the mud and allegedly driving under the influence. The incident occurred in Hartford County on I-91 northbound around  10:30 p.m., Saturday, March 2, in Windsor near the exit 35 off-ramp. On scene, Connecticut State Troopers reported they found Hampden County, Massachusetts resident Ian Daniel Britt, age 24, of Springfield, stuck in the muddy right shoulder of the highway. Man Nabbed Driving Mercedes 120 MPH On I-95 In Westbrook, Police Say A 26-year-old man was charged with alleged reckless driving after he was clocked going 120 mph in a Mercedes -Benz on I-95 in Connecticut. New York resident Zhicheng Wu, of Flushing, Queens, was stopped in Middlesex County around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 in the area of Westbrook. Connecticut State Troopers spotted Wu passing traffic at a high rate and clocked him at speeds of 120 mph in a 65 mph zone, the department said. Following a brief on-scene investigation, Wu was taken into custody without incident and charged with reckless driving. Wu was later released on a $500 cash/surety bond…

Police On Hunt For Man Accused Of Stealing From CT Store Police in Windham County are asking for the public's help to identify a man they say shoplifted from a store in Putnam.  Connecticut State Troopers were called to the Runnings Store, at 44 Providence Pike, on June 13 just after 2 p.m. to reports of a theft in progress, authorities said. Wanted Man Attacked Troopers During Probe Of Suspicious Calls To Bradley Airport A 31-year-old man who had multiple warrants for his arrest attacked Connecticut State Troopers on Monday, June 19, authorities said.  Hartford County resident Martel O. Davis, of Windsor, was charged with assaulting public safety officer, interfering with police, and failure to comply with fingerprint requirements, state police said. He was being held on a $150,000 bond.  Police did not describe the nature of the calls to Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, but investigators said they traced them back to Davis, who already had two open warrants for his arrest.  Troopers arrive…

Robert Mosley, age 54, formerly of Bridgeport and Norwalk, please guilty on Thursday, Sept. 22 in Bridgeport to possession of child pornography, said Leonard C Boyle, Acting US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
