Fugitive Caught After Striking Officer With Car In Region A man who struck a Massachusetts police officer with a vehicle while attempting to execute a search warrant has been captured by state police. Troopers arrested Worcester County resident Bryan Walker, age 39, of Fitchburg, on Friday, Feb. 18, for the incident which took place on Wednesday, Feb. 16. According to Dave Procopio, spokesman for the Massachusetts State Police, on Wednesday morning, the state police gang unit attempted to execute a search warrant at 182 Mechanic St. in Fitchburg as part of an ongoing investigation.  Walker was the target of that investigation, he said. …

Massachusetts State Trooper Involved In Crash With Tractor-Trailer A Massachusetts State Police cruiser has been involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer.  The crash took place around 10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 6 when the cruiser was involved in the crash with a Freightliner tractor-trailer on the Massachusetts Turnpike westbound in Worcester County, in Southborough, said Dave Procopio of the MSP. ID Released For Victim Killed In Western Mass Crash Between SUV, Motorcycle The identity has been released of the person who was killed after a two-vehicle crash in Western Massachusetts. It happened in Hampshire County around 2:10 p.m. Saturday, May 15 in Belchertown, and involved an SUV and a motorcycle, according to Massachusetts State Police.
