A restaurant based on a hit television cooking competition hosted by one of the world's biggest culinary stars is set to debut in Connecticut later this year. Foxwoods Resort Casino, located in Mashantucket in New London County, announced that Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen will open in the Grand Pequot Concourse this summer. This Invasive Insect Spreading Quickly Across Region, Nation, New Study Warns
A foul-smelling, invasive insect commonly referred to as a “stink bug” could become a more frequent sight due to climate change, according to a new study published in Pest Management Science. Scientists used data collected over a three-year period from 17 states to try and forecast how changing weather patterns might create a more welcoming environment for the brown marmorated stink bug. 19: New, More Contagious 'Super Strain' Of Virus Now Has Been Found In Fifth State
A fifth state has now confirmed a case of the COVID-19 variant so-called "Super Strain" that is said to be approximately 70 percent more contagious. On Tuesday, Jan. 5, the Georgia Department of Public Health said it's confirmed the state’s first case in an 18-year-old man with no recent travel history, meaning the infection was contracted through community spread.
