One person was killed in a two-vehicle rollover crash on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut. It happened in New London County around 1:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 on the southbound side in Old Lyme. A 2020 Freightliner business class truck and a 1989 Freightliner conventional truck were traveling just south of Exit 71 when the conventional truck struck the business class truck in the rear, causing the conventional truck to cross into the right shoulder and hit the guardrail and roll onto its passenger side, according to Connecticut State Police. A man died and a woman was hospitalized after their pickup truck collided with another vehicle, spinning the vehicle out of control and into a rollover crash, officials say. Javier Rosado-Toro, age 35, of Waterbury, died in the crash that occurred on I-691 around 9:15 p.m. in Meriden on Sunday, April 30, according to Connecticut State Police. A Connecticut man is recovering following a rollover crash that left him hospitalized with serious injuries. The 37-year-old was driving in Tolland County at around 10 p.m. Thursday, July 21, when he crashed in the Town of Stafford near Tetrault and Hampden roads, according to a report by Connecticut State Police. Investigators determined that the driver, identified as Joshua Roberts, of Stafford, ran off the roadway before striking a tree and rolling over. A driver suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Connecticut. The crash happened on I-91 in Middlesex County at about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, according to Connecticut State Police. Commuters can expect some backups on I-95 in Fairfield County following a rollover crash of a tractor-trailer. The crash took place around 4:15 a.m., Monday, Dec. 6 in Fairfield between Exits 19 and 20, said the Fairfield Fire Department. The state Department of Transportation said the highway was congested for miles following the crash which dumped a bundled section of one-ton metal pipe onto the roadway. 54-Year-Old Killed In Rollover SUV Crash On I-91
A 54-year-old man was killed after being ejected from his SUV in a rollover crash on I-91. Massachusetts State Police troopers in Hampden County responded to a stretch of I-91 near exit 10B in West Springfield at approximately 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, where there was a reported crash involving an SUV that rolled over. According to police, the preliminary investigation found that the driver, a Springfield resident whose name has not been released, was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero and was ejected when he lost control and the vehicle rolled. One Entrapped During Rollover Crash In Western Mass
Police in Western Massachusetts are investigating a rollover crash on a residential street that trapped one occupant. The single-vehicle crash took place around 12:15 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, in the area of 59 Edendale St., according to the Springfield Fire Department. One person was entrapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center and is expected to recover.
