The incident occurred in Darien on Monday, March 25 around 4:30 p.m. on Ledge Road. According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police, officers were dispatched to the area of Whole Foods Market on a report that a man had just forcibly taken money from a woman. CT Man Nabbed For Leaving Scene Of Darien Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with evading responsibility after he allegedly left the scene of a crash. Richard Bliss, age 46, of Norwalk, was charged on Thursday, Nov. 30 after turning himself in to Darien Police on a warrant, said Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police. The Fairfield County incident happened in July 2023 in Darien, at the Whole Foods store located on Ledge Road. According to Darien Police, the victim met 42-year-old Eric Brand in the store’s parking lot on Sunday, July 2, and asked him for money.
