Woman Lights Car On Fire At CT Gas Station, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was charged with arson after allegedly setting gasoline that leaked out of her Nissan Cube on fire at a gas station and then walking away.  Paola Monsalve, age 28, of Norwalk was charged in Stamford on Sunday, Dec. 31 around 8:30 p.m. at the Shell station at the corner of Hope and Church streets. Sgt. At approx. 12:51 a.m. Saturday, June 20, Stamford Police officers responded to the area of 624 Hope St. on the report of a single-vehicle crash where the vehicle was reported to have left the roadway and struck three pedestrians in the front yard.  All three of the pedestrians had to be transported to Stamford Hospital, two with critical injuries, Stamford Police said. Covid-19: CVS Adds 13 New Drive-Thru Test Sites In CT, Bringing Total To 25 Amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, CVS Health expanded its COVID-19 testing program by announcing 13 additional test sites at select CVS Pharmacy drive-thru locations across Connecticut.  The opening of additional test sites on Friday, May 22 adds to the 12 locations previously opened on Friday, May 15 in Connecticut. These new sites will utilize self-swab tests and mark the next phase of the company’s nationwide COVID-19 testing strategy, announced in late April.
