Double-Fatal Crash: Teen, 20-Year-Old ID'd As Victims After Car Hits Tree In Glastonbury
A 20-year-old Connecticut man and his 16-year-old passenger were killed after they crashed into a tree.
The crash took place in Hartford County around 1:50 a.m., on Sunday, July 16 in Glastonbury.
According to Lt. Anthony Pagliughi, of the Glastonbury Police, officers responded to the 1100 block of Manchester Road for a report of a crash involving a car into a tree.

A girl was killed and four other young people were hospitalized after an overnight crash on a Connecticut roadway.
It happened around 4:40 a.m. Sunday, June 25 in Windham County on Allen Hill Road near Route 205 in the small town of Brooklyn.
A 2004 Toyota Prius, with five occupants, slammed into a tree before going down an embankment, according to Connecticut State Police.
One of the passengers, Chanelle Edwards, age 15, of Griswold, was rushed to Day Kimbal Hospital in Putnam and pronounced dead.

The incident took place in Trumbull around 8:30 a.m., Sunday, March 26 at the Royce of Trumbull, on Avalon Gates Road.

New Haven Firefighter Thomas Mieles, age 27, was driving north on I-91 when his car became disabled in the left lane around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

A 17-year-old girl who died in a crash last month in Connecticut is being remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Megan Nicole Povilaitis, of East Haven, died in a single-vehicle crash in New Haven County on Hosley Avenue in Branford at about 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, police reported.
All three occupants of the vehicle died in the crash.
Megan was identified as the driver, and the two passengers were identified as 19-year-old Anthony Dudchik, of East Haddam, and 22-year-old Robert Dudchik, of East Haven.

21-Year-Old Killed In Rollover CT Crash
A local man was killed in a rollover crash in Fairfield County.
Brandon G. Cux Calima, age 21, of Stamford, was killed around 6:50 a.m., Saturday, March 12 in Wilton.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Cux Calima in the vehicle on Route 7, between Old Mill Road and New Street, said Lt. Gregg Phillipson, of the Wilton Police.
Cux Calima was pronounced dead at the scene, Phillipson said.
The Wilton Police Crash Reconstruction Team is continuing to investigate this incident.

A 31-year-old Western Massachusetts man died after losing control of his vehicle on the Mass Turnpike, striking a median, and rolling over his vehicle, state police said.
In Hampden County, troopers responded to a stretch of I-90 eastbound in Wilbraham, where there was a report of a one-car crash involving a rolled-over vehicle with one injured.
Police said that upon arrival, troopers found a vehicle that had struck the median and rolled over, coming to a rest in the breakdown lane, with the driver suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Connecticut State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in which a man was killed by an alleged drunk driver.
The crash took place around about 12:45 a.m., Friday, Nov. 12, on I-91 in Enfield in Hartford County, said the state police.
