Longtime CT Lawyer 'Subject Of Investigation' In Shooting Death Of Man, Police Say Connecticut State Police have identified a man shot and killed by a longtime attorney in the parking lot of a law office. Matthew Bromley, age 39, of Torrington, was shot and killed around 4:51 p.m., on Monday, June 7 at the law office of Cramer & Anderson at 46 West St., in the Town of Litchfield, said Connecticut State Police. The cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound to the head, state police said. Dog Rescued After 13 Days In Wild In Connecticut A Connecticut woman who lost her 2-year-old rescue dog is a happy woman after the dog was rescued himself. Copper was rescued in Litchfield County by Amy La Russo, manager of Unleashed, a local New Milford kennel, after 13 days in the wild.  Copper’s adventure began when walking with his owner Jean Mariano in Saga Meadow Park and he became spooked by a pick-up, said LaRusso.
