CT School Employee Caught With Child Porn, Police Say A school employee in Fairfield County has been charged with alleged possession of child pornography. Peter Wheeler, Jr., age 23, of Fairfield, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 23, following an investigation by police. Sgt. Michael Stahl of the Fairfield Police said the department received a tip in November 2023 from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit involving the potential possession of child pornography within the Town of Fairfield. Chief Robert Kalamaras reported that the Fairfield Police and Animal Control rescued over 80 animals from a home on Churchill Street shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, by members of the Fairfield Fire Department, who were assisting the resident of the home following a medical emergency.
