Man Posing As DOT Worker Nabbed In Hartford County: Police A Massachusetts man was arrested in Connecticut after officers said he posed as a government worker in an attempt to steal. It happened on Monday, Nov. 20 in the Hartford County town of Manchester, according to Connecticut State Police. Carjacking Suspect Nabbed After Pursuit, CT State Police Say A Fairfield County man was charged with armed carjacking after stealing a BMW sedan at gunpoint and then fleeing from state police. The incident began in Newtown around 10:55 a.m., Thursday, April 14, when state police were notified that an armed carjacking had just taken place. The vehicle was spotted by troopers traveling on I 84 east by Exit 14 in New Haven County in Southbury shortly after the incident occurred, Connecticut State Police said.
