'He Was A Hero': Stafford 23-Year-Old Dies After Brave Battle With Rare Skin Disorder A beloved man from Connecticut who spread joy and humor despite his struggle with a rare skin disorder died on Thursday, Oct. 20.  Tolland County resident Jonathan Gionfriddo, of the town of Stafford, died at the age of 23, according to his obituary.  Although he was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare skin disorder, Gionfriddo never let it define him, and he would often be a source of happiness and inspiration for many, according to his obituary.  "Although he lived a life of pain, he put on a smile daily and used his humor to brighten everyone's days," his obituar…

Four Suffer Serious Injuries After Jeep, Honda Crash In Front Of New England Motel Four people were seriously injured in a crash near a Massachusetts motel. Authorities responded to a crash in Norfolk County on Route 1 South in Wrentham near the Arbor Inn Motel at about 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, according to Massachusetts State Police. Troopers found that a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 66-year-old Plymouth woman, was traveling south on Route 1 and approaching the motel when a northbound 2003 Honda CRV attempted to turn left toward the motel lot.
