Two Fairfield County residents were arrested for allegedly leaving a 2-year-old unattended in a smoke-filled apartment with a smoke alarm going off for more than 20 minutes. A Fairfield County teen has been charged with allegedly stealing two vehicles and then crashing them. Charles Wood Wright, age 18, of New Canaan, was arrested on Thursday, on a warrant in connection with an incident that took place on Friday, July 2 at New Canaan High School. Famed actress Meryl Streep’s nephew was arrested on Long Island after being involved in a road rage incident that left his alleged victim in need of emergency surgery for a head injury.
