Police responded to reports of a possibly armed man acting aggressively to others at the MGM Casino around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni reports. Domenic Sarno, the owner of Red Rose Pizzeria in Springfield, died this week. Vehicle Crashes Into Market In Region A Western Massachusetts woman who suffered a medical episode hit the front of a popular market and sandwich shop, authorities said. The incident took place on Wednesday, Nov. 3 on Main Street in Springfield at AC’s Main Street Market in Hampden County. According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, the woman was driving slowly due to a medical issue when she hit the building causing little damage. No injuries were reported and the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. The market, located at 489 Main St., remains open.
