ID Released For Hartford Man Killed In Police-Involved Shooting Near Western MA Casino Authorities have identified a man who was killed in a police-involved shooting in Springfield this weekend as a 48-year-old Connecticut man. Police responded to reports of a possibly armed man acting aggressively to others at the MGM Casino around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni reports. Vehicle Crashes Into Market In Region A Western Massachusetts woman who suffered a medical episode hit the front of a popular market and sandwich shop, authorities said. The incident took place on Wednesday, Nov. 3 on Main Street in Springfield at AC’s Main Street Market in Hampden County. According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, the woman was driving slowly due to a medical issue when she hit the building causing little damage. No injuries were reported and the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. The market, located at 489 Main St., remains open.

The 17-year-old teen boy was stopped around 10:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, when members of the Springfield Police Department in Hampden County spotted him remove the firearm from his sweatshirt pocket and then put it back in.
