The incident took place in Greenwich around 3 a.m., Friday, April 28 on Field Point Road. Kia Issues Recall For 400,000-Plus Vehicles Hundreds of thousands of Kia vehicles are being recalled due to a defect that could cause airbags not to deploy during a potential crash. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that Kia is recalling more than 410,000 vehicles in the US because the airbags could fail to inflate after the issue was first found overseas. Trooper Hit By Alleged DUI Driver Transported To Hospital A woman is facing a DUI charge after allegedly crashing into a stationary police cruiser on I-395 and putting the officer in the vehicle in the hospital. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, around 9:15 p.m. a recent graduate of the Connecticut State Trooper Training program was on I-395 at Exit 11 in Norwich addressing a motor vehicle accident that had just happened, police said.
