Three Arrested In Connection With Brawl At CT Beach, Police Say Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with a beach brawl at a Connecticut beach over the Memorial Day weekend. The incident took place in New Haven County on Monday, May 30 in Milford at Walnut Beach. The fights broke out around 6:30 p.m. in a large unruly group of about 500 people, said the Milford Police. During the fights, police "became quickly overwhelmed by the large, unruly crowd and were assaulted," the department said. 15-Year-Old Caught With Loaded Firearm In Region, Police Say A 15-year-old Western Massachusetts boy was arrested after he was allegedly caught carrying a loaded firearm.  The arrest took place in Hampden County in Springfield around 7 p.m., Thursday, May 5 on Walnut Street. The teen was arrested after Springfield detectives received information that he was currently in possession of a firearm in a parking lot on the 400 block of Walnut Street, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police Department. 15-Year-Old Arrested For East Hartford Homicide A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an alleged homicide in Connecticut over the weekend. The killing of a 17-year-old took place around 2:45 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 9 in the area of 25 Westbrook St., in East Hartford. According to Deputy Chief Joshua Litwin, of the East Hartford Police, when police responded to the report of a person on the ground they found the victim who was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
