Suspect From Ansonia Accused Of Using Credit Cards Stolen From SUV A Connecticut man has been charged for allegedly using credit cards stolen from an SUV in March. Devontay Shabazz, age 20, of Ansonia, in New Haven County, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 15, on a warrant after police found that he was already in jail. The incident took place in Darien earlier this year when the victim discovered that at some point during the overnight, someone had entered their 2017 Chevrolet SUV, said Sgt. Duo Nabbed Attempting To Use Fake Prescription At CT Pharmacy, Police Say Two Fairfield County men were nabbed allegedly attempting to use a fake prescription at an area pharmacy. The two men, identified as Elvis Canahui, 22, and Kason Sumpter, 23, both of Norwalk, were arrested on Tuesday, April 6 by Greenwich Police, after police received a call from a pharmacist, said Captain Mark E. Zuccerella. According to Zuccerella, a pharmacist in the central Greenwich district on Greenwich Ave., contacted the police department to report that Sumpter had attempted to obtain drugs.
