Multiple People Stabbed By Western Mass Woman, Police Say A Western Massachusetts woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing multiple people. The incident took place on Sunday, August 1 around 12:30 a.m., in Hampden County when Holyoke Police responded to the area of Main and Appleton at the Racing Mart Convenience store. Western Massachusetts Man 'Jumped,' Stabbed Multiple Times, Police Say A Western Massachusetts man was stabbed multiple times after allegedly being "jumped by four young males. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m., Monday, June 28, when the Holyoke Police received a call from Holyoke Medical Center informing them they had just received a stabbing victim in the emergency room, said Captain Matthew Moriarty. Western Mass Man Who Was Stabbed Refusing To Cooperate With Investigators, Police Say Police in Western Massachusetts are asking the public for help after a man was stabbed, but is allegedly refusing to cooperate with investigators. Police in Holyoke were notified of the stabbing around 1:40 p.m., Saturday, June 19, when they received a call from the Holyoke Medical Center to report a man that had been stabbed had shown up at the hospital. Terrorism Task Force Investigating White Powder Mailed To Hospital A federal terrorism task force is investigating a white powder that was mailed to a Western Massachusetts hospital. On Monday, Sept. 21, the Holyoke Fire Department responded to Holyoke Medical Center for a report of “unknown white powder” that arrived at the hospital in an envelope. Two staff members were exposed to the powder that fell out of the envelope when it opened, Holyoke firefighters said. Under the hospital’s emergency plan, the building was evacuated as a precaution.
