Hartford Drug Dealer Busted With 250 Bags Of Heroin, Fentanyl Sentenced
A Connecticut man will spend more than two years in prison after pleading guilty to fentanyl distribution and firearm possession charges. Hartford resident Maico Turell, age 49, was sentenced to 30 months, or 2.5 years, behind bars Tuesday, May 24, in federal court in Hartford. Undercover police busted Turell in December 2020 when he sold them “distribution quantities” of heroin and fentanyl on two seperate occasions at his Franklin Avenue home, according to the US Attorney’s Office in Connecticut. Hartford Drug Dealer Known As 'Eggy' Sentenced For Selling Fentanyl to Overdose Victim
A Hartford man who sold a fatal dose of fentanyl has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison. Edgardo “Eggy” Rivera, 28, was sentenced July 16 to 138 months of imprisonment followed by four years of parole for fentanyl distribution and firearm possession offenses. On July 17, 2017, Southington police responded to a residence on a report of an “unresponsive male," according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of Connecticut.
