East Hartford Woman Killed After Car Swerves Across Lanes, Hits Concrete Barrier In Manchester Authorities are investigating a two-car crash on a busy highway in Connecticut that left a woman dead.  The crash happened in Hartford County on Thursday, Feb. 8 just before 7 a.m. on Interstate 84 West in Manchester, according to Connecticut State Police.  According to authorities, a Hyundai Genesis had been traveling east of the Exit 61 on-ramp in the center lane when a Nissan Juke also traveling west in the HOV lane veered across the swale and left lane and collided with the Genesis.
