Witnesses Sought: New Britain 24-Year-Old Killed When Tesla Hits Pickup Truck Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a crash on I-84 that killed a 24-year-old man. The crash took place in Hartford County around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 19 on I-84 in Southington. According to state police, Elijah Joseph Vallier, age 24, of New Britain, was driving a 2003 Ford F-250 truck eastbound on the highway in the right lane of three when the driver of a 2023 Tesla Model 3 driven by Fairfield County resident Shannon James Sherry, age 47, of Fairfield, veered across the center lane, into the right lane and collided with the truck.  Due to the collision, Vallier…
