Man Nabbed For Heroin, Crack Sales In CT, Police Say A man was charged with the alleged sale of crack and heroin following an investigation into drug sales in Fairfield County. Bridgeport residence Marc Busanet, age 23, was arrested in Darien on Friday, May 12 following the investigation, said Sgt. Dan Skoumbros, of the Darien Police. During the month of April, Darien Police became aware of illicit drug sales in the Noroton Heights section of town, and an investigation was initiated.  Darien officers developed information that led to the suspect vehicle that belonged to Busanet, Skoumbros said.  Some of the drugs seized during the bust.…

CT Man Nabbed In Connection To Fatal Overdose A Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with the 2020 overdose death of a Fairfield County man. Luis Rivera, age 34, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Thursday, March 11, by the Fairfield Police Department Quality of Life Unit following an investigation into the 23-year-old's death in December, said Lt. Antonio Granata. According to Granata, Rivera allegedly sold the deceased narcotics on the day of his fatal overdose.  Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Rivera and he was arrested during a motor vehicle stop.
