Covid-19: City Schools Won't Close Due To Recent Infections New cases of COVID-19 have been discovered in several schools in one city, but - in a move that Gov. Lamont has been pushing - there will no closure. On Friday, Nov. 20, the New Britain School District was notified that one member from each of the DiLoreto Elementary and Middle School, New Britain High School, and  Vance Elementary School communities had tested positive for COVID-19, according to the New Britain Herald. The last days that infected people were in school were Nov. 12 (DiLoreto), 13 (Vance), and 17 (High School). Everyone who has tested positive will isolate for 10 days.…
