22-Year-Old Hartford Woman Charged In Fatal Hit-Run Crash A Connecticut woman has been charged with evading responsibility resulting in death after allegedly hitting a 31-year-old man on a dirt bike, killing him. The incident took place in Hartford on Wednesday, July 19 at the intersection of Windsor Street at Loomis Street. An investigation into the crash found that two dirt bikes were traveling south on Windsor Street when a vehicle driven by Avani Butler of Hartford, turned in front of them, striking one of the dirt bikes, said Lt. Hartford Man Shot On Street Dies From Injuries One of two men shot during an incident on a Connecticut street has died from his injuries. The shooting took place in Hartford on Sunday, May 14, around 11:40 p.m. in the area of Wawarme Avenue at Locust Street, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police. Hartford officers responded to the area on a ShotSpotter notification. Upon arrival, one man in his 20s was located and transported to Hartford Hospital where is he in stable condition, Boisvert said. Police Searching For Hit-Run Driver After Crash Killing Windsor Man Hartford Police are asking the public for help identifying the driver of a black Infiniti G35 who allegedly hit and killed a pedestrian and fled the scene. Michael Brown, age 51, of Windsor, was found in the roadway around 12:10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 1, when Hartford Police responded to a report of a crash. According to Lt. Fatal Stabbing On Halloween Police are investigating a fatal stabbing as well as other violent crimes that took place on Halloween.
