'Extraordinary' New Restaurant Opens In CT
A new restaurant in Stratford that serves sandwiches, wings, tacos, and more will soon hold an official grand opening celebration.
House of Flavorz, which launched a soft opening in December 2022 and is located at 1055 Main St., before opening Wednesday, Feb. 8.

City's Newest Fried-Chicken Joint Is Now Open
Local fried chicken joint, Rooster’s Chicken and Waffles, has opened its fourth location in Connecticut.
On Sunday, Nov. 8, Rooster’s Chicken and Waffles announced the grand opening of their New Britain restaurant on Arch Street.
There are three other Rooster’s restaurants in Wethersfield, Berlin, and East Hartford.
Rooster’s is known for chicken wings, Joy’s southern-fried chicken, sandwiches, salads, and, of course, waffles.
