Ford Recalls Vehicles Due To Under-Hood Fire Risk Ford is recalling some 2021 Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators over a defect that could spark fires under the hoods. The recall involves more than 66,000 vehicles in the US built between July 2020 and August 2021. At issue is a printed circuit board that is “uniquely susceptible to a high-current short” and was installed on the models during that time period, according to Ford. So far, there have been at least 21 reports of under-hood fires, including 18 involving vehicles owned by rental companies, Ford said. Missing Local Man Found Inside Burning Vehicle In Another State A Chicopee man that had been missing since Christmas Eve was found dead in Connecticut. On Monday, Dec. 28, Hartford Police said the body discovered in a recent car fire was that of missing man Fransisco “Paco” Roman, 28, Chicopee. The last time Roman was seen alive was Friday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, in Chicopee Center. His body was discovered in Hartford Saturday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day. Chicopee Police put out an alert seeking the public’s help in finding Roman noting that he had a broken right leg and was walking on crutches. He drove an Acura ZDX.
