Man Killed By Box Truck Backing Out Of Space In Hartford, Police Say A 64-year-old Connecticut man was killed when he was struck by a box truck that was backing out of a parking space, police said. The incident took place in Hartford around 10:15 a.m., Friday, June 10 at 25 Laurel St., at the Underwood Elderly Apartments. When officers arrived on the scene they located the man who was suffering from serious injuries due to the crash, said Sgt. Chris Mastroianni of the Hartford Police.
