Fairfield City Named Connecticut's 'Best To Live In' As if anyone who calls it home needed to be told, Danbury has once again been named one of the top 50 cities to live in the United States by 24/7 Wall St. In their latest "Best Cities to Live in Every State," Danbury earned top honors in New York (seventh overall), just behind Centennial in Colorado and a spot ahead of Wilmington, D.E.
