Reward Offered In Violent Attack On Elderly CT Man
Police and a crime stoppers organization are offering a reward to find the person responsible for a brutal attack and robbery of an elderly Connecticut man. The attack took place in New Haven County around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6 on Conrad Street (Oak Terrace) in Naugatuck. According to Naugatuck Police, the suspect, or suspects, entered a home where they violently assaulted an elderly member of the community. This story has been updated. A Hartford County man who allegedly stabbed an elderly man and then himself has been arrested for the crime. The incident took place around 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, when Glastonbury police officers responded to 215 Sherwood Drive for an active family violence incident, said Corey Davis of the Glastonbury Police Department. Police Investigating After Woman Found Dead With Car Missing
Police are asking the public for help after finding an elderly resident dead inside her home and her vehicle missing in Watertown. Maryann Kibbe-Stanisz, 70, of Oakville, was found around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after Watertown Officers responded to her home for a well-being check after family members reported not hearing from her, said Detective Mark Conway with the Watertown Police.
