GREENWICH, Conn. The Greenwich High School football team saw a 27-17 lead evaporate with 11 minutes to play in Thursday's conference championship game. Staples scored on a pair of 60-yard drives, including the game-winning score with 1:16 to play, denying the Cardinals a conference championship and a trip to the Class LL state tournament.
