Richard T. Hermance, 85, WWII And Korean War Veteran

GREENWICH, Conn. - Richard Thomas Hermance, longtime Greenwich resident, died Monday, Oct. 21. He was 85.

Hermance was born Oct. 2, 1928, to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hermance of Hudson, N.Y. He graduated from Syracuse University and received an MBA from Columbia University at Arden House. He retired as vice president of Associates, First Capital Corporation. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a trustee at First Congregational Church and a member of the Retired Men's Association.

Hermance is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Elizabeth (Daniel Wilberding) of Stuart Fla.; son, Thomas of Bella Coola, BC; a brother; a sister; two grandchildren; and three nieces and a nephew.
