GREENWICH, Conn. Carmella "Millie" Dascola of Greenwich died Oct. 9, surrounded by her family. She was 93.
Dascola was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Port Chester, N.Y., to James and Margaret Marino. She was married to Joseph Dascola Sr., who predeceased her in 2003. An avid reader, Dascola enjoyed sewing, quilting and, most of all, taking care of her family.
She is survived by two children, Joseph Dascola Jr. and Lucille (Douglas) Macklem; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Dascola was predeceased by two sisters, Angelina and Mary.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at Sacred Heart Church. Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich handled arrangements.
