Threat Made Against Greenwich Library

A bomb threat was made via email Wednesday morning against the Greenwich Library, one of the cooling centers opened to allow town residents to escape the heat. Police arrived on the scene at approximately 9:15 a.m. and thoroughly searched the library. The library was not evacuated nor closed at any point.

Lt. Kraig Gray, the public information officer, said the there was no evidence of the threat being legitimate.
