Greenwich residents will no longer need to crowd into their favorite creperie on the Avenue. Meli-Melo Creperie recently opened its renovated expansion, increasing in size from 500 to 2,000 square feet.
"Since we opened our doors in 1993, we have grown with the community," owner Marc Penveen said. "We watched our young regulars turn into adults and return with their families. At the same time, they will bring their parents so that three generations of a family will be sitting at a table."
The Zagat-rated restaurant serves fresh homemade dishes from crepes to sorbets. Along with more seating and more room for patrons to stretch out, Meli-Melo now offers a breakfast menu from 6:30 to 11 a.m. Crepes range from $3 to $15.50, sandwiches from $6 to $10.50 and fresh-squeezed juices for $5.50.
