Lifelong Greenwich resident Mary B. Salerno died at Nathaniel Witherell Home on Sept. 21. She was 95. Salerno spent many years volunteering at Nathaniel Witherell, the Laurelton Nursing Home and the Putnam Weaver Nursing Home. She belonged to the St. Roch Seniors and the AARP-Riverside branch. Salerno also enjoyed knitting, baking, quilting and crocheting.
She is survived daughter Dorothy D'Amato; son Louis; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The burial was private. Memorial donations may be made to the Nathaniel Witherell Patient Trust Fund, 70 Parsonage Road, Greenwich, CT 06830.
