Greenwich Motorist Charged With Drug Possession

GREENWICH, Conn. – A Port Chester, N.Y., motorist is facing drug charges after he was stopped for driving with a defective taillight and officers found marijuana in his vehicle, police said.

Eric Salazar, 22, of 50 S. Main St., was driving east on Delavan Avenue late Wednesday night when he was pulled over. Police said they found two Saran wrap baggies containing suspected marijuana. A test confirmed that the leafy substance was marijuana. Salazar was charged with illegal possession of marijuana.

He was released on a $260 bond and is due in court on Oct. 12.
