A Greenwich police officer arrested a man Monday night at a home in town on charges of driving under the influence after questioning him about a previous, unrelated car accident.
The officer saw Paul A. Minor pull into the driveway at 18 Clapboard Ridge Road, Greenwich, and began asking him about a car accident. The officer found that Minor, 49, smelled of alcohol and subsequently failed field sobriety tests. His blood alcohol level was found to be above the legal limit.
He was arrested and released after posting $250 bond. Minor is due in court Jan. 31.
